Ritalin is not the Answer: A Drug-Free, Practical Program for Children Diagnosed with ADD or ADHD by David B. Stein (Jossey-Bass).

Dr. Stein has some useful ideas involving discipline and the immediacy of rewards and punishments that is just good basic parenting for all children but especially those with the ADHD personality. But he is even tougher than me. There's no warnings given in Dr. Stein's approach, no counting 1,2,3 before the "magic.' The consequences are real immediate. An approach that may work for some but not for everybody. Also a bit too anti-medication for my tastes.
