Treating Huckleberry Finn: A New Narrative Approach to Working with Kids Diagnosed ADD/ADHD

Treating Huckleberry Finn: A New Narrative Approach to Working with Kids Diagnosed ADD/ADHD (Jossey-Bass) by David Nylund.

A nice book for therapists that offers an innovative way to address the problems of acting out children and their families. Iím not sure if the children should be the focus or their parents but he says it works. Again the book has a fairly anti-medication slant. Nylund raises the interesting question whether Huck Finn would have helped the slave, Jim, run away if Huck had been on Ritalin.
